The best tools for UI / product design

For UI and product design, Figma stands out as the clear top pick. Its real-time multiplayer capabilities enable collaborative work, which is crucial for design teams. With strong components and a robust design-system support, Figma allows you to create intricate interfaces efficiently. The vast plugin ecosystem and community templates further enhance your design process, making it ideal for product designers.

If you're leaning towards open-source solutions, Penpot is a solid alternative, especially for teams valuing privacy and self-hosting. However, it doesn't quite match Figma’s depth in features and community resources. Freepik AI offers a user-friendly interface for creating various media types, but it’s more suited for general content creation rather than focused UI design. Overall, Figma remains your best choice for UI and product design.
