If you're a developer or product team focused on creating interactive canvas applications, tldraw is the better choice for you. Its polished infinite canvas allows for real-time collaboration, making it ideal for brainstorming and prototyping. However, be mindful that commercial use requires a paid license, so if you just need a simple sketchpad, this might not be the best fit due to its complexity.
On the other hand, if you're a designer or founder looking to quickly build and launch a marketing site or portfolio without coding, Framer is your go-to tool. It offers a seamless way to design and publish websites with strong animations and built-in CMS features. However, if you’re planning to develop a complex web app or need full control over your code and hosting, Framer may not meet your needs due to its limitations in flexibility.
