For users who prioritize privacy and have the technical expertise for self-hosting, choose immich. Its high performance in managing both photos and videos makes it ideal for those who want complete control over their media without relying on cloud solutions. However, if you're uncomfortable with the technical setup or need extensive integrations, this tool isn't for you.
On the other hand, if you're running a website or blog and seek a straightforward, privacy-focused analytics solution without the need for deep features, go for Plausible Analytics. Its clean dashboard and lack of personal data collection cater to privacy-conscious users; however, it may fall short if you're looking for more advanced analytics capabilities or a permanent free plan.
