If you’re a tech-savvy individual who prioritizes privacy and control over your media, opt for immich. This self-hosted solution allows you to manage photos and videos efficiently while ensuring your data is secure and personal. However, be prepared for the setup process, as it requires technical know-how and isn't suitable if you favor user-friendly cloud options.
On the other hand, if you represent a business that needs to handle a significant volume of high-security documents, Stirling-PDF is the better choice. Its open-source nature and focus on secure PDF processing make it ideal for organizations that require careful management of sensitive information. Just be aware of the potential costs associated with heavy document usage and the limitations in mobile app capabilities, which could be a drawback if you rely on mobile functionality.
