Obsidian vs Zed

For personal organization and project management where privacy is a priority, Obsidian is the optimal choice. It's highly customizable, supports local storage, and allows you to use Markdown, making it ideal for users who want to create a personal knowledge base without relying on cloud storage. However, be prepared for a learning curve, especially if you’re new to its interface.

On the other hand, if you're a developer looking for a fast, collaborative editing experience, Zed is a better option. It excels in performance with real-time collaboration features and is built with a modern programming language. However, if you need Windows support immediately or rely on specific VS Code extensions, Zed may not meet your needs at this time.
