If you're a designer or content creator looking for a user-friendly way to create and edit various media types, go with Freepik AI. The freemium model allows you to explore its capabilities without upfront costs, making it great for personal projects or casual use. However, if you need advanced editing features or prefer a desktop environment, this tool may fall short.
On the other hand, if you prioritize privacy and have the technical skills to manage self-hosting, choose immich. It's a high-performance solution ideal for those who want complete control over their media management. This is perfect for privacy-conscious users who don't mind a little technical setup. Avoid immich if you need comprehensive cloud integration or prefer not to deal with server settings.
